Paloumpis helped Ripon's Men's Swimming team finish seventh out of 14 teams at the Grinnell Pioneer Invite over the weekend, breaking two school records in the process. In the 100 butterfly, Paloumpis placed fifth with a time of 54.48, which breaks a 16-year old school mark by nearly one second. His 200 butterfly time of 2:06.92 placed him third in the event, while breaking an 11-year old mark by 0.02 seconds.
