Metz helped Ripon's women's swim team finish eighth out of 14 teams at the Grinnell Pioneer Invite over the weekend, as she earned a trio of third place finishes. In the 100 butterfly, Metz swam a school record time of 1:02.42, which breaks the previous by 0.16 seconds. Metz's other third-place finishes came in the 100 freestyle (55.88) and 50 freestyle (25.55), both of which came within one second of the breaking school records.
