Schaffer helped the Ripon women's track & field team finish eighth at the Midwest Conference Championships over the weekend, finishing sixth in both the 200 and 400 meters. In the 200, Schaffer broke a nine-year-old school record by .07 seconds with a time of 26.50. She was also a part of Ripon's fourth-place Sprint Medley Relay team, while running legs on Ripon's seventh-place 4x200 Relay and eighth-place 4x400 Relay teams.
