Matter finished 28th out of 408 runners at Saturday's Roy Griak Invitational with a 5K time of 23:51. That is the highest finish for a Ripon female runner at that meet and helped Ripon finish 19th out of 29 teams in what is one of the largest and most competitive meets in the country.
