Schaffer helped Ripon's women finish second at Thursday's St. Norbert Invite. She recorded a first place finish, winning the 200 meters with a time of 26.09, while placing second in the javelin with a throw of 103-10. Schaffer was also a part of Ripon's school-record setting 4x100 relay team, which finished second with a time of 50.17, just 0.06 seconds shy of the first-place time.
