Schmitt helped lead Ripon to a 3-1 record last week. In those four games, he batted .444 (8-18) with four doubles, two home runs and nine RBI. In a 24-5 dismantling of Carroll, Schmitt had a career game, going 5-for-6 at the plate with three doubles, two home runs and eight RBI, which ranks second in school history for a single game. With his outstanding performance last week, Schmitt raised his season average to .338.
