Schaffer helped Ripon's women's team take third at Saturday's Wisconsin Private College Championships, as she helped win three events on the day. She finished first in the 200 meters with a time of 26.67 and 400 meters with a personal-best time of 9.77, while also running a leg on Ripon's winning 4x100 relay team, which ran a time of 50.30. Schaffer also placed second in the javelin with a throw of 99-02 and was a part of Ripon's third-place 4x400 relay team, which ran a time of 4:24.83.
