Pomeroy helped lead Ripon to a sixth-place finish at Saturday's UW-Stevens Point meet, breaking a school record in the weight throw with a distance of 51-01.75. That was good for fifth place in the event and ranks third in the Midwest Conference and 44th in Division-III this season.
