In a loss at UW-River Falls, Sara Heitkamp recorded a couple of outstanding individual performances. She was the only Red Hawk to win an event, finishing first in the 100-yard butterfly. Her time of 1:06.61 in the event was nearly one second better than the next-best time and was less than three seconds away from breaking Ripon's school record. Heitkamp added a third place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:11.26.
