Schmitz had quite the versatile week last week. Competing in her first outdoor meet of the season, she finished in second place in the 400 meters and fourth in the 200 meters with times that each rank fourth in the Midwest Conference this season. Not to be outdone, one day later on Sunday, Schmitz scored the Ripon women's soccer team's lone goal in a 4-1 loss to Concordia-Chicago. That marked Schmitz's 26th career goal, ranking her 10th in program history.
