Making his first career appearance as a college baseball player, Blaine Wahlen fired five scoreless innings of relief to earn the win in Ripon's 10-6 victory at Lawrence on Saturday. He allowed just one hit in those five innings (a single), while striking out five batters without issuing a walk.
