Abby Hilker earned one of three first-place finishes for the Ripon women's swimming team over the weekend. In their season-opening meet against Loras College, Hilker won the 200 IM with a time of 2:25.09, which was five seconds better than the second-place time. Hilker also finished third in both the 100 butterfly (1:07.75) and 100 breaststroke (1:19.35).
