Barnes gave Ripon's defense a spark in Saturday's 34-6 win against Lawrence, returning an interception 69 yards for a touchdown with less than one minute remaining in the first half. He also broke up two passes and recorded five tackles (4 solo), while assisting on a tackle for loss, as part of a defense that held Lawrence to just 95 passing yards.
