Stockwell started Saturday's UW-Stout Warren Bowlus Open strong in the Weight Throw with a career-best throw by almost four feet. His toss of 55-03.5 established the lead heading into finals and would be enough to secure his first victory of the day. That throw was just one and a half inches shy of the 12-year-old school record. Stockwell also excelled in the shot put finishing first in that event among a competitive field of Division II and III throwers. His first shot put throw of 50-02.75 was good enough to claim first place and cap off a career day.  With those performances Stockwell currently ranks 19th and 28th in Division-III in the Weight Throw and Shot Put, respectively.
