Hiser helped Ripon's women's swim team finish fourth at the 2017 MWC Championships over the weekend. She won the conference championship in the 50 freestyle with a first-place time of 24.39, while setting a new school record in the 100 freestyle with a fifth-place time of 54.09. Hiser was also part of a school record in the 400 freestyle relay, which swam a third-place time of 3:41.18, while finishing fifth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:02.98.
