Jacob Baus had a stellar day on the oval at Saturday's Lawrence Viking Invitational, as he recorded a trio of top three finishes. He started the day with a season-best in the 100 meters with a time of 11.31 seconds to take second-place overall. He was then .01 seconds off of his lifetime best in the 200 meters with a time of 22.45 seconds, which was good for third place. He then anchored the 4x400 relay team that cruised to a new season best by three and a half seconds running a time of 3:25.27 for seconds place at the meet.
