Pakosz helped Ripon's men's swim team finish third out of eight teams at the MWC Championships over the weekend, marking the team's highest finish in more than 40 years. Pakosz broke one individual school record, while also playing a part in four school record relays. On the first day of the meet, he swam a leg on Ripon's conference champion 200 Freestyle Relay team, which broke the school record with a time of 1:25.32, while also swimming a leg on Ripon's second-place 400 Medley Relay, which broke the school record with a time of 3:32.56. Pakosz added a second-place finish in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 21.63. On the meet's second day, Pakosz swam a leg on Ripon's third-place 200 Medley Relay, which swam a time of 1:37.24. On the third and final day, Pakosz set a school record in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 47.24 in the prelims, in which he would finish third in the finals of that event with a time of 47.56. Pakosz also swam a leg on Ripon's second-place 400 Freestyle Relay team, which swam a time of 3:10.13.
