Bartz continued her breakout season over the weekend at the 2018 Midwest Conference Indoor Championships, finishing in the top two in both the 60m and 200m dash. On Friday, she qualified for the 60m finals with the second-fastest time in the field (7.94 seconds). She held that spot in the finals, finishing second with the exact same time of 7.94 seconds, for the first All-Conference performance of her career. She followed that up later in the day as she lined up as the top seed in the 200m dash, winning the event with a time of 26.52 seconds to tie a personal-best.
