The top performer for Ripon at Saturday's Viking Invitational in Appleton, Wis. was Camrie Schmitz, who had a part in winning three events on the day. She ran to two big season-bests in the 100 and 200 meters, winning both events with times of 13.09 and 26.69 seconds, respectively. Schmitz's time in the 200 was 0.74 seconds faster than her previous season-best. Schmitz also ran the third leg on the winning 4x100 relay, along with Callista DeCramer, Alyassa Burgess, and Briana Bartz, which finished with a new season-best time of 50.64 seconds. That relay time currently ranks second all-time in program history.
