Playing in her first collegiate tennis match, Bembenek was victorious at number one singles 6-3, 6-1, while also teaming up with fellow freshman Hannah Ryback to win at number one doubles by a score of 8-0. That helped the Red Hawks defeat Lakeland 7-2 in their season-opening match.
