Matter had an outstanding day at Friday's UW-Oshkosh Invitational, breaking her own school record in the 5K by 25 seconds. The senior from Sussex, Wis. won the event with a time of 17:54.11. She also finished fifth in the 800 with a time of 2:27.67. Matter's 5K time currently ranks 11th in Division-III this season.
