Competing in the first swim meet of her college career, freshman Sophie Czerwonka won three events (including one relay), which helped Ripon win their season-opening meet 115-81 against Loras College. Czerwonka won both the 200 IM (2:29.13) and 100 breaststroke (1:16.59), while also swimming a leg on the Red Hawks' winning 200 medley relay team (2:02.49).
