Swick did not allow an earned run in 10 innings last week, giving up just five hits and striking out 16 batters without issuing a walk. In his only start of the week, Swick earned the win in an 11-1 victory at Lawrence that clinched a spot in the MWC Tournament. In that game, Swick allowed five hits, while tying a single game school record with 15 strikeouts in his second complete game of the season. In his only other appearance, Swick pitched a perfect ninth inning for his first save of the season in a 3-1 win at #16 UW-Whitewater. Swick recorded a WHIP of 0.50 during the week, while opponents batted just .151 against him.
