In his first collegiate races, Hildebrandt took second in the short track cross country race on Saturday and first in the cross country race on Sunday. He took the commanding win in Sunday's race, defeating Joe Maloney of the University of Wisconsin-Madison by nearly one-minute in the 5-lap race at Nordic Mountain. The course was virtually the same as that used by Olympians and other professional mountain bikers two weeks ago at the Subaru Cup Pro XCT race.
