Sam Forstner set a personal record of 25:42 and individually placed fourth overall and second among scoring finishers, as the top two finishers were members of the University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin club teams. This finish led the men's cross country team to a second place finish, best-ever, at the Gene Davis Invite.
