Corrie Osborne led the Red Hawks cycling team with two first place finishes this weekend in the women’s A category. The first-year student from Mequon, Wis., convincingly won Saturday’s 20-minute short track cross country event on a challenging course that involved a long open climb and tight decent on Lindsey Wilson College’s dual slalom and BMX complex. She then came back Sunday to take another win in the weather-shortened cross country race at Green River Lake State Park. Osborne was the first woman to cross the line after the 16-mile race was shortened to 8 miles because of heavy rains and lightning.
