Polston helped Ripon's men win their second consecutive meet, defeating Lawrence on Saturday. Polston won the 100 and 200 backstroke with times of 58.74 and 2:11.66, respectively. He was also part of Ripon's first-place 200 freestyle relay team, which swam a time of 1:32.45.
