Forstner had a historic outing at the 2023 Midwest Conference Championships hosted by Grinnell College on Saturday. The senior earned a second consecutive individual runner-up finish with a time of 25:40.87. This was the fourth All-MWC recognition for the Wisconsin Rapids native, who also finished inside the top 20 at the conference meet in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Forstner is just the second Red Hawk man in program history to be named All-Midwest Conference four times.
