Berens had arguably his best outing as the Ripon signal-caller on Saturday, leading the Red Hawks to five consecutive touchdowns to open the game as Ripon crushed Beloit 52-17 for the sixth consecutive meeting. The sophomore had three passing touchdowns in the first half and finished the day 15 for 21 with a career-high 5 touchdowns and 220 yards in just three quarters. He also rushed 8 times for 45 yards and was not sacked once.
