Tackmier had a memorable week for the Red Hawks. In Saturday's road win at MWC-leading Illinois College, the senior scored the game-winning basket with eight seconds left to help Ripon win its first Midwest Conference game of the season, 77-75. He finished with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. In Thursday's close loss to Grinnell, the senior scored 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting, grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 2 assists. Tackmier is second on the team in points per game (11.4) and made field goals (56).
