Walker was named the Midwest Conference Men's Field Outstanding Performer at the Midwest Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships as the Red Hawks secured a three-peat on both the men's and women's sides. On Friday, Walker won his third consecutive MWC long jump title in 7.28m. On Saturday, he won the MWC triple jump event for his second individual title of the weekend – after a runner-up finish in 2022 and a first-place finish in 2023, the senior won this year's event in 13.80m. On the track, he also was a member of the 4x200 relay that took first, set a school record and was the ninth-fastest 4x200 relay time in DIII track and field history with a time of 1:28.77.
