Wahlen had two quality starts for Ripon over spring break in Florida against #18 Wheaton and Keystone, but he tossed the best start of his career in a 3-1 win over Keystone on Friday. The senior threw a complete game, four-hitter against the Giants with a career-high nine strikeouts. He only walked one batter and allowed just one base runner to reach second base or beyond. Against Wheaton, he gave up just three earned runs in five innings against the nationally ranked Lyons, walking none on seven hits with three punchouts.
