In the women's 6K race at UW-Whitewater's Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday, Cortes netted her third top 10 finish in as many races this season. The junior placed fifth in 24:14.8, only finishing behind a trio of UW-Whitewater runners and a competitor from Dubuque. Cortes helped the Ripon women to a second consecutive runner-up finish as a team.
