Nelson had an impressive showing in her first two collegiate games over the weekend as Ripon defeated both Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran. In Saturday's 80-52 win over last year's NCAA Tournament participant Puget Sound, Nelson had a game-high 19Â points on 8-of-13 shooting, chipping in three rebounds, four assists and three steals. In Sunday's 51-38 win over Pacific Lutheran, Nelson scored a team-high 10 points (5-of-10 from the field), adding seven rebounds and two steals. Over two games, she shot 56.5% from the field while averaging 14.5 points, five rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals.
