The 2021 season is Greg Ruark's fifth as Head Coach of the Ripon College Women's Soccer program, after serving one season as an Assistant Coach for the Red Hawks.
During Ruark's second season as Head Coach of the Red Hawks, he led the team to its second Midwest Conference Tournament appearance in program history, losing in a shootout in the semifinals to top-seeded Knox College. That followed a season that saw Ruark lead Ripon to a 6-0 start in his first season at the helm, earning them a spot in the North Region top 10 rankings.
In his one year as an assistant coach with the Red Hawks, Ruark helped Ripon win a program-record 14 games, including a 13-0-1 start to the season. They also became regionally ranked for the first time in program history, reaching as high as fourth in the North Region rankings.
Ruark has 38 years of coaching experience at the college and high school levels. He has also served as the Director of Player Development for the Oshkosh United Soccer Club. Prior to that, he served as an assistant men's coach at fellow Midwest Conference school, Lawrence University. The Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coach at Rose-Hulman for 15 years, Ruark has also served as an assistant at DePauw University.
Ruark earned his B.S. in Public Relations from Ball State University, before going on to earn his M.A.T. in Health and Physical Education from DePauw.
