The Atrium

    The Atrium is the center of The Willmore Center and is a flexible space that can be used for any event. It also offers three large tables for students to work on class projects, as well as plenty of seating for relaxation.

    In the Atrium, there is a plaque honoring dedicated Ripon College alumnus Michael "Mike" Reese '65, who served on the Board of Trustees for 30 years, beginning in 1987 until his death in 2017. Mike took an active role in numerous initiatives, including admissions, athletics, and planning and support of Willmore Center. He was president and CEO of Pierce Mfg. Inc. in Appleton, Wis.; served on the board of directors of the Green Bay Packers and The Business Bank in Appleton; and contributed significantly toward the development of the Wisconsin Timer Rattlers baseball stadium in Appleton. At Ripon College, he majored in economics and was an active participant in sports.
