A three-sport athlete, Barb won varsity letters in basketball, tennis and volleyball and was a captain on all three teams. She led the basketball team to a conference title in 1977 when she was a top scorer and key rebounder. In 1977, she had a near perfect tennis record with just one loss and led the volleyball team to a conference tournament playoff spot.
