Charlie, the son of Ripon Hall-of-Fame tennis coach Chuck Larson ‘65, is arguably the most dominant player in the history of Ripon College’s men’s tennis team. He holds all-time school records of 84-6 in singles (84-4 vs. DIII opponents) and 82-17 in doubles (with two different partners). He was a four-time MWC singles champion, a three-time doubles champion, and never lost an MWC singles match (41-0). His senior year, Charlie was an NCAA national qualifier and set a school record for singles wins in a season (23). He didn’t lose a D-III match from March 1998 to May 2000 and didn’t lose a set during his junior season (22-0).  Charlie also ran cross-country at Ripon during the 1996 and 1997 seasons.
