Ripon College Athletics

Deb was an all-around athlete, winning letters in volleyball, softball and basketball and All-Conference honors in volleyball (1980 and 1981) and softball (1981 and 1982). Once scoring 15 points in a single volleyball game, Morrissey’s athletic ability and smart team play placed her on the All-Tournament team in 1980 and 1981. Her batting (.500) also earned an all-tournament softball selection in 1981 and 1982. Deb consistently led the basketball team in rebounding, establishing a record for the most rebounds in a single game during the 1980-81 season.
