Ripon College Athletics

Jim Cahoon was named to the all-conference squad four times (twice in football and twice in basketball). On the gridiron, Cahoon characteristically played on both offense and defense, earning his 1963 all-conference honors as a defensive back and as a quarterback the following year. In the 1964-65 basketball season, Cahoon scored 487 points, a record which stood firm for over a decade. He remains fifth on the all-time Ripon scoring charts.
