Ripon College Athletics

Katherine (Wimmer) Banner ’95 participated in swimming, and volleyball at Ripon College. In her four years, Wimmer was a two-time conference champion in the 1650 freestyle, while winning the conference championship once in the 500 freestyle. Wimmer graduated with school records in the 1650 (18:32.04) and 1000 freestyle (11:12.51). At the time of her induction, 21 years after her graduation, Wimmer still held Ripon’s record in the 1650. As a volleyball player, Wimmer racked up 390 kills, 356 digs, 91 total blocks, 51 service aces and 42 assists.
