Kay Elskamp was a key player in both volleyball and basketball for Ripon College. She helped the volleyball team to the Midwest Athletic Conference Championship in 1993 and 1994 and was named Most Valuable Player in 1994. Elskamp was captain of the women’s basketball team during the 1993-95 seasons and was named Most Valuable Player on two occasions. She also received honorable mention to the Women’s Division-III All-American Team in 1995. At the time of her graduation, Elskamp was Ripon’s leading scorer with 1,257 points and held the record for the most rebounds, blocked shots and steals in school history.
