Kevin King lettered in both football and baseball. An All-Midwest Conference football selection in 1980 and 1981, he earned an Associated Press All-American team honorable mention in 1981. In his career, King broke the single-season record for touchdown passes in one game, most career touchdown passes (39) and most career passing yards (5,029).
