Ripon College Athletics

Paul J. Noel participated in football, basketball and baseball in his time at Ripon College, for a total of eight varsity letters. He earned football honors, including All-Conference recognition as a senior. He contributed to three championship football teams with a combined record of 22-2, including Ripon’s only undefeated team of 1963, when he was a sophomore. Noel was also a part of two championship basketball teams in his sophomore and junior years. He received a free-agent contract offer to play professional football with the Houston Oilers in 1966, but declined the offer.
