Stephen M. Kohl ’02 was a three-time First Team All-Conference selection for Ripon’s men’s basketball team, playing a key role on their 1999 Midwest Conference Championship team and helping the Red Hawks advance to the NCAA Tournament three times (1999, 2000 and 2002). Kohl, who set Ripon’s career record for games played and consecutive games played (100), also graduated as the school’s career leader in assists (499), while ranking in the top 10 for points (1,208), 3-pointers (154), 3-point percentage (.487), free throw percentage (.849), and steals (139). Steve also competed on Ripon’s men’s golf team, finishing 15th overall at the 2000 MWC Championships.
