Steven A. Feyrer-Melk lettered four years in football and three years in track and field. He holds both the single-game and career record for most receptions in Ripon College history and ranks among the top 10 in several other categories. As a nationally ranked receiver, he was known for his speed and desire to make the spectacular catch. He was named most valuable player in 1986 and All-Conference three years in a row, two of which were on the First Team, as he led the conference in receptions. In track and field, he was twice named All-Conference. He was a conference champion in the long jump, setting school records in that event, as well as in sprint events.
