Terry Cramer’s athletic achievements place him among Ripon’s all-time basketball greats. Terry’s perimeter marksmanship and offensive wizardry gave him Ripon College records for most points scored in four seasons (1,503), most points scored in one game (47), highest career free throw average (.834), highest season free throw average (.859) and most assists in one season. A two-time All-Midwest Conference pick and team captain, Terry led his team to two Midwest Conference championship titles. According to his coach, “He earned his spurs as one of the finest basketball players Ripon College has ever had.” Terry’s skill was noted by professional basketball teams and he was a 1981 draft pick by the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
