Tim Barnes is one of the most talented big men in Ripon College men's basketball history. He played a dominant role on two conference championship and NCAA Tournament teams and was co-captain of Ripon's first 20-win team during the 1979-80 season, which was legendary coach Kermit "Doc" Weiske's final year on the sidelines. That same team ranks second in program history for consecutive victories (15).
A two-time unanimous First Team All-Conference selection, Barnes holds school records for career rebounds (773) and single-season rebounds (284). He graduated as Ripon's fifth leading scorer with 1,079 career points, while also owning three of the school's top five single-season rebounding totals.
