RIPON, Wis. - Fresh off a 6-2 victory against Monmouth College over the weekend, the Ripon women's tennis team couldn't duplicate that feat, losing to St. Norbert College Tuesday by a score of 9-0 in what was the Red Hawks' final home match of the season.

The Red Hawks (3-5, 0-2 MWC North) lost all three doubles matches by a combined score of 25-12. Their closest match came at the third flight where Elizabeth Ake and Ellie Hedberg lost 9-7 to Emily Rasmusen and Lizzy Tews.

St. Norbert (4-5, 2-0 MWC North) also won all six singles matches, despite a fight from Ripon's Brittany Sullivan at number one singles where she lost 6-4, 6-3. Olivia Wetzel was also competitive at number three singles, falling 7-5, 6-3.

Ripon will try to rebound on Saturday with a pair of matches in Beloit, Wis. They will face Beloit College at 9 a.m. before taking on Knox College at Noon.
