LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Ripon dropped both of their matches Saturday afternoon, losing to North Central and Lake Forest College, both by a score of 9-0.

Against North Central (5-2), Ripon lost all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-2. In singles play, Elizabeth Ake put up a fight at the number one flight, before falling, 6-3, 6-0, while Madeline VandenHouten lost her number two singles match, 6-2, 6-4.

In Ripon's second match of the day, Lake Forest (5-0) won all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-1. In singles play, Ake and VandenHouten were again the most competitive. Ake lost her number one match, 6-3, 6-2, while VandenHouten fell in the second flight, 6-1, 6-2.

The Red Hawks (1-9) will now have a bit of a hiatus, before resuming their schedule on October 3 when they'll host UW-Oshkosh. That match will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Larson Courts in Ripon.
